The Beetlecam is a great example of an innovative project. Two brothers from the UK, Will and Matt Burrard-Lucas wanted a better way to photograph wildlife in Tanzania and came up with the concept of putting a camera on a mobile buggy. They got some great photos from it, which you can see here on their site.
