Haiti – One Year On

Today is a year since the Haiti earthquake. This photographic essay from the Foreign Policy website contrasts a series of photos from after the Haiti earthquake (the right hand photo) with now (the left hand photo).

It’s a clever way for visualizing change, even if the message isn’t as uplifting as we might like. It’s a reminder that the reality of change is often slow and incremental, regardless of the amount of money that’s thrown at a problem.
